Tinnitus Therapy

Tinnitus refers to an auditory perception not produced by an external sound. Most individuals will describe tinnitus as hissing, ringing, or roaring.

Tinnitus Retraining Therapy

Do you often hear a hissing, ringing, or roaring sound? If so, you may be part of the 20% to 25% of the population experiencing tinnitus – an auditory perception not produced by an external sound. This sound can range from low to high pitch; and although generally constant, it can also be perceived as intermittent or pulsed. Tinnitus may begin suddenly or it may come on gradually, in one ear, both ears or in the head.

Because tinnitus may be associated with a wide range of issues (such as hearing loss, sleep difficulties, fatigue, stress, difficulty concentrating, depression, or irritability), we offer Tinnitus Retraining Therapy. Our goal is to bring patients to a state in which they are no longer aware of the tinnitus, so it no longer affects their life.
