I was away in April at the first WiSE (Widex Scientific Excellence) seminar held at ORCA in Chicago, Illinois. This seminar was attended by a select group of Audiologists from Canada, US, England, Australia, Belgium, and the Netherlands and was led by clinical researcher Dr. Francis Kuk. We had the opportunity to learn and ask questions about the research that takes place to develop the advanced features in Widex hearing aids. We use these features everyday to help you, our clients, with your communication needs.
I was able to meet with Audiologists from all over the world and learn about the similarities and differences they deal with in the practice. This was a great opportunity and I hope the WiSE seminars continue over the years to provide me with up to date information that I can use to help you and your hearing!
